Welcome to News from the Nest! This email is a way for us to share a little news to keep you informed on events and happenings of the Edgewood PTO. We know life is busy, and with so much to share, we wanted this email to serve as a simple and easy way to find the who, what, where, when, why's of the next month. Happy September! Edgewood PTO hopes your family has had a great first few weeks of school! We have had a busy start working on all the fun things to come for fall. Please make note of the information below for the month ahead. And reach out via email if you have any questions! 

• Our September PTO Meeting is Thursday, September 7th, at noon in the library. You will be able to zoom if you can't make it in person! The zoom link will be emailed Thursday morning before the meeting.

• Edgewood Night Out is Monday, September 11th. Participating restaurants include Big Spoon Creamery, Edgewood Creamery, Meals by Misty, Ono Poke, Sam's Deli & Grill, Saw's BBQ, and Taco Mama. This is an easy and fun way to give back to the PTO and support our local businesses!

• Yearbook sales are live! Yearbooks are $40. All 5th graders receive a complimentary copy! Yearbooks will be delivered in May.

• Each month the PTO provides a treat for all teachers, faculty and staff to show how much they are appreciated. September is the 5th grade's month to help provide this treat! If you would like to contribute and haven't already arranged to do so through your room parent, please Venmo @EdgewoodPTO and indicate 5th grade treat or send your donation to the office with your child labeled "5th grade PTO hospitality treat." The recommended donation is $5, but no amount is too small or too big. All donations are voluntary. We appreciate your support! 

• Save the Date! - My Pals Day will be Friday, October 27th. More info to come in the October News from the Nest email. Stay tuned!

House Shirt Preorder ends Friday, September 8th, at 6:00pm!

Don't forget to place your order! House Shirts will be delivered in time for October House Day on October 20th.
