Our PTO serves many purposes, but one of our biggest goals is to ensure our teachers and staff have the resources they need to provide an outstanding education for our students. Each year, we raise funds to support curriculum, special programs, teacher grants, and projects that make our school a fun and engaging place where students can thrive. Here’s a look at what we do—and how you can support us:

SPRING FESTIVAL - April 11, 2026

Our largest fundraiser of the year features rides, inflatables, games, a silent auction, food, drinks, and fun for the whole family! Thanks to our generous corporate sponsors and Families of Edgewood, along with t-shirt, wristband, ticket, and silent auction sales, we raise nearly $100,000 to support our school. Click here to learn more.

TURKEY TROT - November 2, 2025

Edgewood’s beloved annual 1-mile Fun Run is open to students, families, and staff. Thanks to more than 800 runner registrations in 2025, the PTO was able to donate $5,000 to the PE department and purchase new nets for soccer goals.

TALENT SHOW - FEBRUARY 20, 2026

With over 50 acts and 400 total participants, the annual Talent Show is a chance for Edgewood students to shine and perform with friends and classmates. The Talent Show helps to raise almost $5,000 for Edgewood's arts and music programs. Click here to learn more.

EDGEWOOD NIGHT OUT

On the second TUESDAY of each month (Aug - May), visit any of the following Homewood restaurants who donate a portion of the proceeds back to the Edgewood PTO. Dining out, purchasing gift cards, or picking up adds up, and this program generates almost $10,000 for the school each year. Our partnership with Wyndy helps families find trusted babysitters while giving back to Edgewood at the same time. How’s it work? Download the app, or visit wyndy.com, post your job and use school code: EDGEWOOD. Wyndy will give back $5 for each completed job to Edgewood PTO. It’s that easy!

Every time you shop Edgewood Gear, you’re supporting our school! Merchandise sales add up quickly—last year alone we raised over $30,000. Thank you for your support, and happy shopping!

PArtnerships

Throughout the year, we partner with local businesses to host fundraisers for our school. The Taco Mama Happy Family Meal on Halloween and the Slice Family Meal on the night of the Talent Show were big hits with Edgewood families!

DUES & DONATIONS

Without your support it would not be possible for the PTO to provide much needed supplies, equipment, and programming year after year. Over the course of the 2024-2025 school year, PTO gave back approximately $118,000. Your dues and donations make a BIG IMPACT and are so appreciated!
